Nuclear Manufacturing is responsible for the manufacturing of time sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in an integrity driven, highly regulated environment (i.e. FDA, NRC, DOT) to support patient treatment through disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring. $1,000 New Hire Sign On Bonus! Schedule: - Full-time - 40 hours per week
- SaturdayTuesday, 10:00am8:30pm (10-hour shifts) or until work is complete
- Must be willing to work holidays, alternate shifts and schedules, and overtime as needed
Responsibilities - Independently performs advanced radiopharmaceutical manufacturing activities using radioactive isotopes/materials, ensuring safe, compliant production with minimal supervision.
- Maintains full proficiency in required training programs and serves as a resource for onboarding and mentoring Tech I employees, supporting both elearning and handson components.
- Executes and verifies complex manufacturing and characterization steps in accordance with SOPs, identifying procedural gaps or deviations and escalating or troubleshooting as appropriate to protect product quality.
- Applies indepth understanding of cGMP, GDP, and regulatory expectations, proactively identifying compliance risks and recommending corrective actions.
- Conducts thorough, contemporaneous documentation and performs firstlevel review of batch records and logbooks to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to Quality review.
- Performsand troubleshoots when necessaryroutine and advanced cleaning, equipment setup, preventative maintenance, batch execution, and distribution activities, supporting operational continuity.
- Interprets and applies FDA regulations relevant to assigned tasks, exercising sound judgment when making compliancerelated decisions in real time.
- Conducts both routine and specialized radioactive contamination wipes and radiation surveys, independently assessing survey results and initiating appropriate safety or corrective actions in alignment with ALARA principles.
- Executes materials management tasks, including inventory control and powered industrial truck (forklift) operation, ensuring safe handling and accurate documentation of regulated materials.
- Operates company delivery vehicle to retrieve radioactive material and deliver finished drug products, demonstrating strong situational awareness and adherence to all DOT and regulatory requirements.
- Redlines, authors, or updates SOPs, manufacturing batch records, and training materials.
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives, internal audits, and supports CAPA and NCR investigations.
- Serves as a technical resource for Tech I, Nuclear Manufacturing staff.
- Performs root-cause analysis for minor equipment or process failures.
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
